Walking today I came to this place. When we think of winter beauty we think of snowscapes and trees encased in ice. But even without all that winter has a special beauty all her own.
The still and quiet and serenity of this place made me almost forget how cold I was. If I had the time I'd stay here all day.

The thing about hiking in winter is everything is exposed. Rock outcrops you never knew existed, nests that were hidden by leaves even ponds and other water features get exposed. Thanks for posting the pictures you take and share.
