@robingoodfellow I know that feeling, but up here it's pretty much accepted if you can't get to work, you can't. I would have had a happy morning exploring and finding myself in nature telling my work I can't come in, while I would find joy.

@thewindupbirdchronicles the thing that exhausts me when it snows on a work day is not so much driving in bad weather, it's working a full day and then having to come home and spend 2 hours clearing the driveway 😮💨
If I'm not working I can take my time cleaning it up and enjoy the beauty of winter all around me 😃

@robingoodfellow Ahh that used to be a joy of mine, shovelling. I miss it sometimes, call me crazy. I would make mountains with the snow. But yes, it's trying... 🥺

We ended up with close to seven inches here. The forecast went from a dusting to an inch, then one to three. 🤷🏻♂️

@SageWanderer Be safe and stay warm.

So beautiful though, and the unique quiet.

Great job, being a weatherperson.
You can be wrong all the time and still keep your job.

Our storm moved off the coast. We never got the predicted snow.

@robingoodfellow glad that one stayed south, I'm in Maine and we've had several feet fall this winter, and I'm over it, lol

WOW! Seems weather forecasting is not an exact science.
