Will the winter be a cold one or hotter than usual?

Well I think in my area it will be a warmer winter. The trees around here don't have many Fir and Pine cones which is a sign of a warmer winter. If the had lots of cones it would be a sign of a cold winter. Cheers and happy weekend!
