I'll never understand exactly what people hate so much about the early sunset and nightfall of fall and winter.

I find it so relaxing and calming. It's such a cozy feeling not being opressed by daylight until 8 or 9 o clock. Dark at 6 pm is the bomb. Gives you a few hours of cozy relaxing darkness before going to bed without having to stay up till midnight. I don't gwt what is so great about daylight in the late evening hours, it's exhausting and anxiety inducing.

I live in western upper, lower michigan. Very near to lake michigan. In the late fall months, moisture tends to start to gather over the lake, resulting in cloud cover. We seldom have sunny days during winter. When those occations do arise, the likelihood of the temps being sub zero is high.
So...those long days of sunlight, in my existence, are prized.

I can be though so, half true😉.
What led you to think that though? Canadians aren't nearly as frank as i tend to be...
