Do you bother heating your house in winter when it's just you living there ?

Currently I ask my daughter if she wants it on. the current ac is a really old style that trips out the outside unit fairly often and blows hard with no really slow setting. Normally she says no so we just rug up more. We both have genuine Australian made Mortels sheepskin boots now not pathetic knockoff Deckers ones. Mmmm
