I Love Big Old Trees

This tree is the biggest linden tree in Switzerland. It is 25 meters high and has circumfence of 11 meters. Its age is estimated to be 800 years.

I wonder how it feels to grow so many years alone there. What if it has a friend as companion and grow to that great age together?

@Sssslm There are some other trees near by as you see in the photos. Maybe the birds and squirrels who visit the tree are his friends? 😀
