Find the pipes coming into your home and point an electric heater at them. If you can't go out side , do it under the sinks, and leave the faucets open a little for when they start to thaw
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@FreeSpirit1 Ive been doing that for 8 hours and I'm pretty sure the frozen part is outside my house.

@melissa001 i would keep doing until you get a plumber, it happens to me and took about 12 hours,I also used a hair dryer.

Happened to my mother in law. The Plummer had to I think drive a thing down to it. And think used a welder. And it was right on the line of water company responsibility and homeowner. So I think it was both payed half of it.

@melissa001 well then all you. But still if it under the ground idk how the find it. She lets her water on a bit ever since then. It was like 20 years ago the first winter there I think.

@Jonjdw I have been doing that but I must have turned it off last night without thinking about it. I'm so stupid.

We've had our pipes freeze and had to get the plumber to come out and use a thaw machine that shocks the pipes.
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@Starcrossed even if it's under the ground outside my house?
melissa001 · 51-55, F
I doubt they could dig into the ground.
LunarEclipse · 61-69, M
Leave them open and try and get some heat near them
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@LunarEclipse the house is warm so the pipes in my house I don't think are frozen but I have a heater under the house.
LunarEclipse · 61-69, M
Yes. leave all the faucets open a bit
melissa001 · 51-55, F
@LunarEclipse ok
Fullmetal · 46-50, M
They are already unthawed, you need to thaw then!

They’ll be fine in a few months, no worries

Typically heat blankets draped over the ground.
Neoerectus · M
Grave warmer. Use propane to warm ground.
