Discussing summer plans already with my sister

Sister invited my man and I to her place this afternoon to hang out and have a de facto meeting about this coming summer. Summer’s right around the corner and it won’t be long before my sister opens up her nice big house to friends and family for her annual summer party pad all summer long. In recent years, she’s been trying to get me to play a more active role in being in charge of the place while she’s away or otherwise busy during the summertime. She understood completely that I am positively not going to able to fill that position this summer because I’m going to be busy taking care of my baby, who’s coming the first week of June. I’m not even sure I’ll be around her pad this year. But sis is a mom of two, so she understood. All I can promise her is I will help where I can and when I can, whatever that may be. She said first thing, she doesn’t expect me to play a large role for her pad this summer and was just giving me the layout, so that’s sweet of her. I’m sure she’ll get it sorted out. She always has, even before she started getting me to serve as caretaker in her absence.
