I can feel the heat in all that greeness.

Beautiful day. So lush. Thank you for sharing.

I love the heat but the humidity is different this year.

I would love to walk barefoot on those grass paths and if it’s as warm and sticky as it is here walking in the creek also!

I love that old bridge, and turkey-lings is a WAY better term for those babies following behind ...than the official one. 😊
@Piper there's something special about old bridges.

@robingoodfellow I think so, too. I haven't been able to find a very good picture of the old train trestle...bridge I used to walk halfway over when I was a kid. I think trains still use it, and it was old when I was drawn to it back in the late 60's.

Your picture reminded me of it, and brought back memories.

The highlight was a mama turkey... They ducked into the high grass

How can a turkey duck into high grass? Is that a typo?

A duck can duck into high grass but a turkey can only turkey into high grass.
@SandWitch I suppose the males could also gobble it down.

but that's neither here nor there.

@dirge
Did you know there's a natural vacuum that lies between here and there?
@SandWitch no. but im sure nature abhors it
