It’s gonna be a busy day today, but a good kind of busy

Today, my sister and several of her friends will be helping her set up her party pad and get it ready for summer. Afterwards, she’ll be throwing a barbecue party as thanks for all who helped. It’s always exciting getting her place ready for the season, but this time is particularly special because it’ll be the first time Desmond and I will be helping as a couple. He has showed up as a friend of a friend to help before over the years, which is surreal to think about now. Before, he was just another acquaintance of my sister’s. Now he’ll be there as my boyfriend. 🥹
