do sun beds actually make u look older?

i usually fake tan but when it starts to wash off it looks so dirty. i also hate the process of using self tanner. i want to start going to the sun beds maybe a few times a week to get a tan but i’m scared to look 40 by the time i’m 30.

Creates free radical damage in the skin. If the user also smokes and drinks there is an accumulative effect making it much worse. I worked with a young woman who took pride in her dark tan, she smoked and drank. She also started aging rapidly in her 40’s. So much for vanity.

@hollyyoung Your liver has to deal with all of this. Even tanning. That’s a huge stress on it.

@hollyyoung VANITY ! College coeds would start their tanning January in order to get a tan before they went on Spring Break to beaches somewhere. It happened every year.
