Buyer beware. Ventilated seats do not mean 'air cooled seats'. Unless the car advertisement specifically says 'cooled seats', there will be no integral cooling airflow to those seats.
@swirlie I've been noticing that as well with new vehicles. The only time that 'cooled seats' are offered on any new car is if you choose that brand name's top of the line vehicle. Even a fully-dressed smaller model with all the options possible will not have 'cooled seats' available as an option. Ventilated seats yes as an upgrade, but not 'cooled' seats on any of the lower models.
