Sunshine camping blog (part 3 - Sunday 7 August)

Spent some quality time with my nephews last night sitting on top of a hill trying to identify constellations ⭐⭐⭐ Thanks to an amazing app we can become informed amateur astronomers in a matter of minutes 😊

With the girls we have a policy of encouraging exploration and adventure and not saying or doing anything that discourages them from living life to the full. 5yo needs little further encouragement. She can't keep away from the water. Three changes of clothes already today and she is impressively muddy considering how dry the ground is 😅

In the afternoon we walked to an iron age fort/burial site and I went into full Enid Blighton mode supplementing my small historical knowledge with a healthy dose of story telling and mythology. Who would have known that our little valley was originally carved out by giant bears 🐻

Laura has bought 5 litres of local scrumpy. It's 8% alcohol 😳
