Sunshine camping blog (Day 2 - Saturday 6 August)
Quite an eventful night in the girls' tent, during which everyone seems to have had an argument with someone else and stormed off in a huff. But by the morning all were back in their original sleeping bags, so compromise and peaceful consensus have won the day again 😌 Turns out that the teenage girls can be quite bossy and outspoken . . can't imagine where they get that from 😉
We had unpasteurised milk from the neighbouring farm, which is delicious. A little worried about the 5 yo's tummy, but she's held up well. Nine people get through a hell of a lot of food it seems . . I am not sure I have got my provisioning sums entirely right 🤔
The boys are so responsible and well behaved and I am very grateful 🤗 They have their bats and balls, their comics and their chess set and they seem quite happy doing their own thing 🙂
We tried to get the younger girls to take a nap this afternoon, but that didn't go down too well. Their aunties are looking forward to an early night tonight 😴
