We arrived at our destination at 2.30pm. Our party consists of Laura, me, our five nieces (15, 13, 10, 8 and 5 yo), and two nephews (11 and 10). Home for the next week is a little piece of moorland paradise half a mile from the nearest farm. We have three tents: one for me and Laura, one for the boys, one for the girls (haha 😅), but also a nice big barn with springwater on tap should the going get tough. Acres of empty landscape stretch as far as the eye can see and we have exclusive use of a wide oxbow in the river with a shallow sandy bank. Hopefully our natural exuberance and the occasional temper tantrum will inconvenience no one 😊 Weather is set fine for the whole week 🌞
The boys seem a little nervous at the prospect of so much female influence, but they will get used to it 😉
