I love Summer.

This summer has been quite nice so far. The afternoon temperatures have been in the low 20s. If the wind drops it can feel quite warm in the sun. This week we have had lots of sunshine. Even though the longest day was last month it's still light at 2130. And now the air is still and it's so quiet.

Our summer here has been slow in arriving, only had one hot weekend and everything else has been below average temp plus above average rainfall 😕

@Cuda6868 In lockdown I used to listen to the church services in Chilliwack. They were still in church and allowed to sing and we weren't. And I am Welsh! We need to sing. I used to get up at 3.15 on a Friday morning and make a cup of tea and be ready for the 7.30pm service at 3.30am our time. And make breakfast at 5 and hurry off to school. My school was a hub school. Stayed open for kids of hospital workers. Did that all over the summer but by September I was in college. But then the Mounties rode up on their horses and shut the church down.

I'm in Florida and it's a typical Summer with daytime temperatures around 32C and when you factor in the heat-index it's often as high as 36C.

@Blodyn I'm used to it. Florida's considered a sub-tropical climate, but I've also spent 2 years in a hot, humid, tropical climate so one must adapt as I'm sure you know.

@luv2fly352 I don't really know. I always been in Wales. I did go to Cardiff in half term.
