Today was so nice. I had a cardigan in my school rucksack just in case. And I took my thin coat. But I didn’t wear either one. It wasn’t really hot. There was a breeze but it was just nice.

@Blodyn We live close to the mountains, rolling hills and the beach is only about 30 minutes away by the road. But we can ride there in 15 minutes. I love having the beach and mountains close by.
That sounds so lovely. I live in the mountains. On a sheep farm. But it’s where the mountains drop down to the sea! The view of the estuary is stunning. @thetucker
@Blodyn Sounds awesome. I have a horse ranch, it's been in the family for 3 generations now. I know it's not long for some but we've managed to keep it in the family. The views around are great too, looking down into the valley, looking over the ocean, I love it here.
My college is in Carmarthen. It takes nearly two hours to get there! The college bus goes from my school. So I have to go on the school bus and then on the college bus! @thetucker
@Blodyn wow, sounds like a pain, but well worth it. My daughter will be going to the University about an hour from us. She's planning on living at home and driving every day. Shouldn't be to bad for her.
@Blodyn She is going to be a veterinarian. So she will be able to be at this University for 3 years but her forth year she will have to go to a different one, same university, just different location. That's where they do the clinicals on animals. What are you studying?
@Blodyn My daughter I will have to do one more year after the four, she's going to specialize in large animals and I think, not 100% sure that she will do another year.
Your sister is going to be a vet? Cool. What do you want to be when you get done with college?
Large animals is what most of the kids do here. If they do vet! Ii am starting my degree in Fine Arts and Ceramics in September. Not typical farmer’s daughter! @thetucker
@Blodyn lol, At least you know what you want, that's what is important. In some ways my daughter is the typical farmer's daughter in other ways, she definitely isn't.
@Blodyn That's true, the only way to find out is by trying. Well, rancher/farmer.. We raise horses and grow hay, most of the hay is for the horses but the extra we sell.
