I Like Thunder And Lightening Storms

It has been a while since our last one, we don't get them often but when we do the are marvelous! where I live we usually only get sheet lightning (the kind that comes in a flash) but in our last storm we got some fork lightening and it struck the power lines and caused a temporal blackout. I don't really understand how people are afraid of thunder and lightning, as long as you aren't wearing metals (mainly brass) or other conductors of electricity then you're fine.

I love it when I hear a thunderstorm is coming my way! Last summer there was a really good storm that came through and it took the power out for a little, I even heard the transformer explode. But it was in the early morning so I just slept through the blackout.

wow! In the Caribbean they have a lot of storms (I went there for a holiday once), but where I live we rarely have them, I've slept through storms on occasion and I was so disappointed when I was told
