Devil beating his wife? [I Like Thunder Storms]

My grandmother once told me that when I heard thunder, the devil was beating his wife. She must have been one bad girl if the devil himself had to beat her for misbehaving. Maybe she was being nice 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Nelisme How very odd that your grandma would have said this.. the thought that the devil has a wife since matrimony has it's roots in religious sacrement, love and respect, fidelity and trust, and things that the devil is said to despise seems completely irrational.

But then again I've been accused of being aan unthoughtful goof because I believe in God and the devil.
