@Ontheroad My parents left Louisiana before I was born. But I imagine that was part of the decision not to return. Once, when we were visiting we saw a "water bug” (aka huge flying roach). Mom and I yelled—my uncle rolled his eyes and said, ”It’s not as big as your foot !" 😳
