Happy Spring! but now new life begins

it started out with three deer by the gazebo and then the biggest white rabbit I've ever seen, -was it a snow shoe hare, and then another regular brownish white rabbit running through the yard and my little dog dirtying up her clean sweater chasing something in the woods, and an hour later she is still jumping at the door after I thought we had all settled down ... - is this what it is like to be a parent?
