What makes you feel like spring is back ? It has not been feeling much like spring here but I got my sweet sign today ! My little dudes are back !💕😍. Well, I’m pretty sure these are the same guys They hung out in my yard all summer last year . I’m just so tingling happy to see them 💕💕💕
We go through a very distinct “spring is coming” phase before we get to “spring is back,” but for me, back has always been seeing a robin, then green, then tulips and daffodils. 😍
When the Mississippi kites return to nest here….saw a pair soaring above the neighborhood yesterday…when the trees bloom, the bees start buzzing around and when I see butterflies…saw a white butterfly yesterday for the first time this season.
There are two artificial lakes behind a strip mall near me. It has benches to sit on, and paths to walk on. The ducks and geese love it, partly because people feed them (which is discouraged, but nobody follows the rules, it seems). They get quite tame.
The last time I sat at a bench there, two geese on the far side of the pond crossed it and walked right up to me, while I was chatting on here. I had my glasses off since I cannot focus on the screen otherwise, so did not see them coming. When I noticed, they were like 10 yards from me, with hopeful looks. "Sorry guys, I have no food!" Once they realized this they wandered away and went back in the water.
