@Adrift Falcons go after pigeons. There was a big problem with pigeons nesting on the ledges of 3 12-story dorm buildings at the university where I worked. They would foul up the ledges There were air conditioning units in every dorm room that faced out over those ledges which sometimes created a nasty odor that the A/C units pulled inside the rooms. It was against university policy to poison and kill the pigeons. So they decided to drill round holes in places on one side of the buildings for falcons to nest in and brought in falcons. In other words they let the falcons kill off the population of the pigeons.

@4meAndyou they like cornbread during the cold weather, extra fat and protein for them. It didn’t take 10 minutes for a squirrel to find the food after I filled it up this morning. It was munching on the cornbread.
