My new neighbors have never lived in the mountains when it snows and it shows.

I'm wondering how they expect to get their cars out when they have parked them as far away from the road as possible.

I guess this will be a learning experience for them.

They were out there flashing their flashlights around as I was messing with the tarp over the chicken run. I guess they were wondering what I was doing lol

Maybe they ordered a service? Like a snow Uber.. Snoober!

@GerOttman Snoober!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Even if they hired a plow, they are up on a hill and will literally slide down to the road when they leave lol

@FoxyGoddess You need to set up the camera then!

did they even pull their windshield wipers away from the windshield?

how is the storm affecting you so far?
@FoxyGoddess I hope you won't lose power, and if you do it won't be for long. I hope your chickens are coping well.

I'm looking at the continental radar and cloud map again and I still don't understand really where this storm is coming from, like is it starting in Mexico, is it starting the Pacific southwest of Mexico, or what (there's a clear diagonal line of clouds down across Mexico and into the Pacific for example):

@ThirstenHowl I tarped the chicken run yesterday and there is a considerable difference in temperature, so they are good!

I think the worst of it is over. It is getting tampered down with sleet, so I think the trees will stay standing. There hasn't been much wind at all. It's just a slow moving storm.
@FoxyGoddess I'm glad it's turning out to be somewhat mild for you there :)

If you don't have to worry about trees falling, maybe it is good sleeping weather, if you're behind on sleep
