Can someone please go out and melt all the snow? I'm supposed to go to the dentist tomorrow.

@Jake966 That's a lot of shoveling. I'm scared to drive out cause I already bashed my car once in the past week. I think it's the ice hiding under a thin layer of snow that I'm scared off more than anything. That's how I smacked into the curb.

@H1raeth I know what you mean. Snow is rare down here on the SW coast but last time we had more than a brief flurry I was unable to use my car for a week. I lived in an estate on a hill, and everywhere including the residents' car-park soon became a sheet of ice.

I was still working at the time and was able to commute by train, using a halt not far from home (though a hazardous walk in the conditions).
