Hobart, Tasmania, that little island at the bottom of the Land Downunder has snow on Mt Wellington. The temperature at 8.40am was minus 1.4 degrees. A White Christmas for Hobart residents.
I remember waking up Christmas Day 1967, looking out the window, the whole area was covered with snow.
Meanwhile here in Vancouver we have none, although the car windshield is currently frozen, all we need are a few clouds. Not looking promising. 40c is too hot.. yikes. I suppose if you go in the water to cool off the sharks get ya.
