This Saturday, a group of 11-12 year olds are going to build their own lean-to shelters in the woods and then sleep in them in 27 F temperature

What could possibly go wrong? 🙃

Dad has to insist that his son wears a coat - again...

@HootyTheNightOwl Dad has to insist that his son bring his waterproof down feather 20 F rated sleeping bag with liner - again...
@SW-User Sounds like he is heading down the same path that I took once upon a time... now, I don't even shiver when I get cold.

I have no choice but to wrap up more warmly now, though - or my back will let me know about it... stupid caring injuries.
SW-User
@HootyTheNightOwl Yeah he will be running around in upper 30s F / low 40s F weather in the morning during a campout in just a t-shirt and zip-up parka hoodie and not be cold at all lol.
@SW-User If he's running a lot, that could explain why he is not feeling the cold like you are.

Alternatively, he could be a human radiator.
SW-User
@HootyTheNightOwl I'm usually not too terribly cold either. I'm also a human radiator, so he takes after me I suppose
@SW-User That would explain it... if you're a human radiator, then there's a good chance he could be, too.
