If anyone were kind enough to tell me the name of a tree with fruits like these, I'd be grateful. I tried searching online for it to no avail.
When I read books with descriptions of crisp autumn leaves and winter chills, I can only imagine them. Now that I have seen them, I can appreciate better what I read. A place with seasons is always so beautiful.

@novembermoon i am still unable to really see the fruit. A look at an individual fruit and maybe cutting into it might help. Where are you geographically and seasonally?
@novembermoon the tree looks very tall and there are so many "fruit" I wonder if they are only fruit in the biological sense. Do you have any photos of the leaves?
I just did a little google search and found a photo of a lychee tree with fruit, kind if similar except for the height of the one in your photo.
