People come to me for plant advice, or soil mixes

And they come back and tell me their plants(s) is/are doing well. 🥹

It makes me so happy 🥹🥹

You're lucky, they come back to me saying their plant died 🥲 why? Because they had me explain to them for 2 hours what they gotta do but they did none of that 🫠

@Nanori sometimes I do get those too. But mostly it is success stories! Which is great. ☺💙

But yeah sometimes I can say "distilled or rain water only" five times and see "water I leave out in my counter overnight" flash through their innocent eyes every time and then they come back and I'm like did you water it with tap water

And they are like YEAH.....

I wish I reached out before I lost mine to mold and a nasty ant takeover
caccoon · 36-40
@Selah which plant was it? 🥺
Selah ·
@caccoon some pothos I had forever. It was sooo gross I panicked and threw them away. I wonder if I could have salvaged them but the roots were pretty bad
caccoon · 36-40
@Selah sometimes it's better to start over again 💙 I'm sorry to hear that

@Quetzalcoatlus I would look up their needs and think about your climate. I don't know where you live and assuming the bed is outside. Are you starting from seed?
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@caccoon Seedlings, I’m in south FL
caccoon · 36-40
@Quetzalcoatlus okay, well I would just research the plant types and then compare that to your climate.

Starting seedlings indoors is almost always easier though, regardless
