Why are people....

Why is it people are afraid of hard work?
When you make or do something your self it makes it that much better especially if kids are involved.
I've been growing these Peper plants few months now and there ready to give out but no one is wanting any and people who said they would be interested have let me down I was charging 20p for one and that's just for the pot and soil I wouldn't get the money as it would go back into other projects for the community but people seem to be afraid of the hard work as now I'm offering for free still no one. Have over 50 plants to waste now so gutted what's wrong with this world

I don't know. Growing peppers might be demanding in places where droughts are a threat. They demand a lot of water and seem to be fragile plants in general. My father used to have that problem but last year they were doing very well and this year seems quite good as well so far. What a shame people don't want yours.

@MiraRoss Ours even grew small fruits when they were still inside. They're always fine as long as they are inside but my father always starts growing them very early when it's still cold and then he's even afraid to open a window to not kill them with cold air. Tomatoes are a bit less sensitive in this regard.
