Why are people....

Why is it people are afraid of hard work?
When you make or do something your self it makes it that much better especially if kids are involved.
I've been growing these Peper plants few months now and there ready to give out but no one is wanting any and people who said they would be interested have let me down I was charging 20p for one and that's just for the pot and soil I wouldn't get the money as it would go back into other projects for the community but people seem to be afraid of the hard work as now I'm offering for free still no one. Have over 50 plants to waste now so gutted what's wrong with this world

I don't know. Growing peppers might be demanding in places where droughts are a threat. They demand a lot of water and seem to be fragile plants in general. My father used to have that problem but last year they were doing very well and this year seems quite good as well so far. What a shame people don't want yours.

@CrazyMusicLover ive grown them inside too in a box and there growing so good
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@MiraRoss Ours even grew small fruits when they were still inside. They're always fine as long as they are inside but my father always starts growing them very early when it's still cold and then he's even afraid to open a window to not kill them with cold air. Tomatoes are a bit less sensitive in this regard.

Keep at it! You’ll find your customer base! The gardening/permaculture movement is very popular these days. Many people are looking into growing their own food.

@Quetzalcoatlus yes this is true I will just talk to people which I hate to do lol but word from mouth is powerful when the light is lit
Quetzalcoatlus · 46-50, M
@MiraRoss What kind of peppers are you growing?
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@Quetzalcoatlus salad pepers

Do you have any allotments near you as you could put a note on the notice board or something..advertise in a local shop. People are lazy.
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
@Primnproper Not always lazy, I would say Cautious. There are a lot of scams around these days.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@JamesBugman i dont see how you can scam with a plant..it costs pence..they go to pick it up so they can see it for themsleves..i understand with other things though.
MiraRoss · 31-35, F
@JamesBugman how can this be a scam it was 20p and if they brought there own pot and it was bigger than mine the soil they take would be more than 20p so it's in no way a scam
Why do you feel that there is fear involved in their choice to not do hard work?
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
Make some salsa with it.. mmmm yummy.
