Do gods walk among us?

Recently met a man who claimed to be a demigod, with his only power being the ability to make plants thrive with no effort. He said that plants, regardless of how difficult they are to grow in this region, simply grow unreasonably well around him without his even trying, and apparently he makes his living taking in dying rare expensive plants for a couple weeks and just allowing them to be in his house until they’re perfectly healthy again.

It got me wondering if he was crazy or not, but also pondering the possibility that some people may actually be gods or demigods without having any idea… 🤔🤷‍♂️

Some people make silly and impossible claims.

I wouldn't trust his word about the plants without at least 2 visits, a fortnight apart, to his house.
What seems effortless to him might be as simple as a well set up operation with nutrients automatically added to an irrigation system.

@hartfire I’m inclined to agree…extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, and as he had none this was more than likely just the ranting of a lunatic. On the other hand, I’d also agree that there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in our philosophies 🤷‍♂️
