A discourse on peace.

What is peace? The true meaning of peace can [only understood by one who has lost peace. I'm one racked soul and the word rings emerald green on my ears. Yet I I have not given up , I will unlearn everything I know and walk as toddler to relearn the meaning of peace. Perhaps peace is the call of the wild to someone trapped in noise and buzz of the city in its knack of a routine . The paradox is peace is the lay man's cup of tea and rich man's widow. Perhaps peace means those who go about their business unhindered by the gossips of human bees or perhaps it resides in the lap and innocence of children. But one thing for sure it is rare as an oasis in the desert for those who seek. I can go on and on and peace can mean many things but they are one in essence..... a heart free from fear and a mind that wander unchained. Peace with oneself and peace with the world is a lofty ideal each of us seeks. Perhaps peace is the wild wild call of nature when yeats wrote Inisfree or atleast his idea peace . But I 'll share my humble portions from my crumbs of peace. Unlearn and undo all that loads in your brain and now let's us go for an adventure in search of peace like little children do when they go on a treasure hunt. Peace comes perhaps when silence in some mountain is broken by the trickle of its rivulets, or in the cry of a dove orthe flutter of her wings in some highland. Or when the breeze meets weary traveller and quench the sweat of his brows or in the still shadows of some trees or in the eyes of those who have walked the earth with content . But above all peace is when we make our peace with God and the sublime peace with all his creatures is spontaneous.
