I Find Peace In Nature

I can easily forget how soothing it can be to be immersed in nature, which I feel is a necessity for a majority of people who don't get to see enough of it. These past two days I've finally been able to get myself out in my small town full of lush greenery and it's not something to be taken for granted. We have a river that runs directly through the town which can be especially calming to hear and the air does wonders to breath in being quite pure and clean. I have the privilege of seeing the trees that my father planted when he was alive, knowing that they'll stand the test of time just like the memories I have of him. Feeling connected to nature can bring a wholeness internally which you can't find anywhere else.

@Listening80 - A tree isn't going to mistreat you in anyway or judge, criticise or condemn you like a person can, so there's definitely that appeal. Nature really does seem to put the world in perspective, washing away our troubles and can remind us of just how wonderful it can be to feel alive.
