When I was about to be operated on for cancer removals and they were putting me under with anesthesia I imagined I was in forests and was surrounded by beautiful green trees. When the surgery was finished and I woke up 9 hours later I opened my eyes, saw the anesthesiologist and asked if I did or said anything stupid before waking up. He smiled and said I was talking and telling them all about Sequoia National Forest. I told him that was because forests are my happy place and I love to think of them often.
