It's rutting season..I am going to stay one night out in the country, in Scotland..A place were many red deer inhabit. From my pinned posts on "I love nature"..I have taken loads of photos of wildlife in my local park with my mobile. Got close to wildlife, really enjoyed observing and capturing the images...But in rutting season. A 50m distance advised, from rutting, hormonal stags, so they don't charge at you with their sharp antlers!. And yet?..daredevil as I am..I would camouflage and try to go close!..but if one does charge?..last time..a smaller stag attacked my tent..and I grabbed it by the antlers, stood tall at 6ft 4..and it ran away...but if a massive competitive stag charges when I'm in the middle of a photo...like a royal stag or something...I need a defence!!!...Apparently I can't run..just like stand tall again?..shout?..have a tree in the way?...bring a deterrent, or a shield 🤷🏻♀
