I won't be the first person to have felt this, but we've become out of touch from nature that now we need boardwalks and making tourist destinations of our wonders. Yes, it's wonderful and amazing we have made ways to see those sights, yet somehow it speaks of how detached from nature we have become they become a spectacle.
I hope no one was injured.

@thewindupbirdchronicles a lot of people almost equate nature with a theme park equipped with safety features these days.
The only safety feature is you. Love nature but above all respect it and it's power.
All the time these days you hear stories about people falling off cliffs taking selfies or getting trampled by a bison for getting too close .

That could have been horrific

For sure, and in so many ways. Knowing the danger rarely dampens the exhilaration and awe I feel when she does, and sometimes I feel almost guilty about that.

Holy smokes. What I don`t understand is why all those people crowded in one spot after it. I`d be gone!

@Degbeme Listen, you'll never get good selfies with an attitude like that. 😅

Yet we build whole cities on the top of major fault lines and in the paths of hurricane's.
We will never learn.
We will never learn.
