My city is devastated from hurricane Ian but we’re ok.
We were lucky, just some tree damage and no power. Many ppl lost their homes and I haven’t heard from some friends since last night…

@DeluxedEdition I have a friends in Bonita and here in Ft Myers that were up to 8ft of water. My coworker in Naples had to swim the neighbors during the surge, we haven’t heard from her yet. We still haven’t seen the death toll yet. It’s scary

@Quetzalcoatlus this morning from what I read so far of the death toll is 12. Not sure if it’s going to rise or not with the hurricane going to the Carolinas. unfortunately my brother lives in Fort Myers I finally heard back from them yesterday. I’m just glad everyone is okay I hope you hear from your coworker soon. It’s very likely they don’t have power or service
