People out deer hunting coming back empy

@Matt85 over population leads to disease and in-breeding that destroys the herd . Plus the meat is very good . Management and selective harvest leads to a stronger and healthier deer populations .

@Matt85 In this day and age with habitat for all wildlife dwindling especially game species, hunting is essential to maintaining a healthy population to insure their future. Only a certain number of animals, ages, and sexes are permitted to be harvested each season. And they are a good , healthy food source.

Agree with all of it except the meat tastes great part. I’d rather have chicken. @TexChik

@Matt85 Been deer hunting since is I was 12. There is an overpopulation problem, in many areas. Their meat is really good and we usually eat what we kill. Usually. 😄
