Deer meat for months

My buddy also went hunting this weekend and gave me a lot of deer meats.
I got steak, ground venison and summer sausage and jerky. It will get me and the kids though the winter.

The ground venison doesnt have any fat in it, so if you do make burgers with it, be sure to mix it with ground beef.
