A ribbon snake and a woodpecker. Saw lots of beautiful frogs too but didn’t get shots.

The Ribbon snake is similar to a Garter snake but is only in the Eastern portions of North America. More brown than the Garter.

@hlpflwthat we have both ribbon and garter snakes here. I didn’t get a close up of the face where you can find a good distinction between the two snakes near the eyes and the mouth
