I Have An Unnatural Fear of Garden Slugs

I am literally terrified of these creatures, they remind me of leeches which are another phobia. I'm not really sure when it came about really, I remember one time when I was still in infancy I was at a caravan with my parents and brother and my mother innocently pointed out that it was standing on a slug, when I lifted my foot, I revealed the largest most ferocious blackest ugliest slug I had ever seen in my life! From then on it just got worse. Those damned things were everywhere! I'm not sure when it got to the point of screaming and trembling foolishly whenever I saw one, but it is currently at that point. I know they're harmless but...

my niece was never afraid of bugs until her mom started acting like a two year old around a spider, so i had to sit next to a bunch of spider webs for a week before the need for her male role model outweighed her need to imitate that selfish lazy brain dead sow of a mother (to no fault of her own as she was also raised by the same spiteful christian single mom as i).
