I actually walk around spraying water and adding shade. I even cool a certain spot because I think deer mice are in there. We'd need a national effort with no more gas powered mowers and blowers, and efficient public transportation to slow the wildfires.
@FreddieUK sadly i saw some beautiful Acer trees die in a park in London. Friends too lost a lot of trees and plants during the hot spell and hosepipe ban.
