Beautiful roses.
A nice tangle of branches and undergrowth too, for invertebrates to shelter in and birds to forage for them. If damp and shady, and near healthy ponds, the undergrowth is also shelter for frogs and toads, both of whom spend a lot of time out of water.
I have a smaller rose bush than that, but it's dog-rose rather a domesticated hybrid (though one I'd transplanted from a location where it was not wanted), and shares its glorious tangle with a firethorn. Both are in blossom.
