@WoWgirll oh gosh, I'm still learning myself. Usually plants have zones and hardniess posted on the plants details near the pricetag. A lot of timrs they're wrong so I research the plant. Sorry I'm not very helpful lol

@SW-User no I've just followed what I've been taught growing up I have zero educational experience with plants.
