'Nearly wild'...

...are my 'pink florabunda' rose shrubs. Blooming profusely all season.

Nearly my favorite part, when the buds are still sheathed in green as they swell and burst forth
In vibrant delicate petals.

Wild breeds wild –
you bring something in from the woods,
and soon enough, your home’s not yours.
(...)

And isn’t it the same with us… Isn’t it
the same with kisses and with skin
we set something loose in each other
we lose control… we lose control.
It’s a deep thing, a promise, a warning..
wild breeds wild.

@SW-User Thanks. I have 6 of them to enjoy the beauty of.
SW-User
@Magenta awesome, do you have to cut them back in the winter?
Magenta · F
@SW-User No I haven't had to. I do a little trimming in the spring though.
SW-User
@Magenta that’s good, I had Knockout rose bushes before and they had the be cut back each year, pain in my thorny hands
Magenta · F
@SW-User Ha. Yikes that's no fun.
SW-User
