I Have a Garden

Although I live in a rooming house, I do have a small garden plot out next to the back patio. One of my roommates has a marijuana plant that takes up about a third of the plot. I have the other two thirds.

I'm growing three tomato plants. Fruit is on one already. And I have about 6 squash plants; three zuchini plants, two dollar squash (AKA patty pan). I have two rows of sunflowers in back (short ones, about
3-4 feet, the fluffy kind like Van Gohg painted). I've got two rows of orange marigolds in front.

I also have a big thick row in between the squash and the tomatoes in which I've planted torch plants (AKA Mexican Sunflowers, about 5-6 feet high) which will have dozens and dozens of orange flowers in about 6 weeks. Among the torch plants I've planted ornamental blue wheat, something I've never tried growing before.

I will post a photo when everything is in bloom in a few weeks.

That would be cool
Smoke some of that weed when it buds ,and have a vegan buffet
Weed always gave me the munchies

But on a serious note ,glad to hear your are able to manage a garden
I used to help my Grandpa's with gardens that fed the family and the community
they were huge
I am not able to do anything like that now days ,even a small one would be a labor of love
Flowers and veggies ,I am sure its going to be something to behold
and that weed plant too
I have grown more then my share of them too ,,back in the day of coarse

@rckt148 I guess I should explain it's not my pot plant; one of my roommates (don't even know which one) is growing it. Back in the 70s, I once grew 16 pot plants (actually 31 until we removed the hemp plants) in Portland, Oregon during the few years back then that the city made it legal. I don't use the weed anymore, but It's OK with me if my roommate wants to grow it.

@greenmountaingal We used to put them into Dads garden until we could tell the males from the females ,he took good care of them for us until he caught on what they were ,,he made them grow real quick he said ,,he pulled them all up
I have grown more then I want to brag about
But you did mention it was a roommates plant ,,I wouldn't judge if it was yours
I love Peaches to death ,she just showed a pic of hers
I would never judge anyone of such things ,or blame you if it helped you garden LOL
It works eating it too ,
Have a good one ,,
Happy Gardening
