Update fellow gardeners

The latest pic is a bit old now - the lawn has been ravaged as all lawns in Britain in our heat wave and as were int he Thames water area I cant do anything to save it but at least we had rain yesterday. I’ll take some new pics… Sorry fo my absense the last two months - Ive actually been busy earning. There was a promo on as well and I could have put out free bids to garden locally for other people - its as though the job came along just in time to prevent me going down that pathway in life !! Lets see how things work out !

Due to the trees and area my lawn was more moss than grass. Now all the lawns look the same just yellow with a few weeds

@nevergiveup Ive started watering mine with buckets poured int othe bare patches a few days ago and they’e greened up nicely. Apparantlely anything that isnt a hose pipe is fine. I noted the water runs down the gaps between the grassed patches so selectively waters the other areas and probably half a centimetre might soak in instead of flowing on. The remian grass is already growing sideways into the gaps. I also raked in eom sharp sand with grass seed mix. Worth a try. I do need to scrify and roll my lawn this winter though.

@Captain I live in Malvern so we still have plenty of spring water flowing so i am filling up drums in the trailer just for the plants and veg

@nevergiveup Actually its better if we have constant mizzle for a few weeks and that would be excellent because it would mean Leicestershire (the team most people wanted kicking out of the county championship not 5 years ago because it was always losing) would win the 2nd division title and gain promotion to the big boy league.
