Update fellow gardeners

The latest pic is a bit old now - the lawn has been ravaged as all lawns in Britain in our heat wave and as were int he Thames water area I cant do anything to save it but at least we had rain yesterday. I’ll take some new pics… Sorry fo my absense the last two months - Ive actually been busy earning. There was a promo on as well and I could have put out free bids to garden locally for other people - its as though the job came along just in time to prevent me going down that pathway in life !! Lets see how things work out !

The best thing you can do for the lawn in a drought, is... do nothing.

Grass is about the toughest plant in the garden. Keep off it while it is weak, so you don't damage it further, and once the wet weather returns it will perk up quite quickly.

@ArishMell I keep cutting the gorwing bits to stop it getting too patchy - do you think this will actually make things worse ??
