@AbsolutelyFabulous Thanks AF, its the way it changes of the season that so pleases me. The purple aubretia on the left of the border has just gone over at the purple alping on the right takes over, the dominant colour has gone from the bright red of the flame bush to the pinks of the blossom trees and then the wisteria and now its the whites of the front rhodo and the lilac and we're not done yet. I spent so much time in it today beciause th eweather was so delightful. Hope you had a good day. M
@Captain yes thank you, I did a little bit of gardening and I went to the dog park with Cosmo, then I brought him to the doggy washing place and gave him a shampoo and blow dry, it was a nice day
@AbsolutelyFabulous We have a cold water hose in the back garden ! It doesnt stop her diving oin the water when she gets the urge. Goldies are reknowned for their hydrophillia
@Notsimilarreally Glad you enjoyed it. We are lucky and we live at the end of a cul de sac with the end of a cup-de-sac to the left, teh right and behind us so its super-quiet. Also the council wild planting that borders the public path running down the back of the garden has been left to over grown and is now fully 12 foot tall and adds to the quiteness and the privacy. However the wisteria at the back is now crawling its way all over their hedges and up the large (30 foot in each dimension) maple thats just off to the left. I've spent plenty of time loppong that back as well. All good fun though.
